Refund policy

At It's My Leche, Inc., nothing takes priority over the safety of the babies we serve and the integrity of our products. This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through itsmyleche.com, including consumer products, freeze-drying services, subscription orders, and accessories. Please read this Policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Consumer Products — All Sales Are Final

No Returns Accepted

Due to the nature of our products and federal food safety standards for infant nutrition, It's My Leche, Inc. does not accept returns on any consumer products, including powdered donor breast milk sachets, storage accessories, or gift products. All sales are final.

This policy exists to protect every baby we serve. Once our products leave our temperature-controlled, FDA-registered facility, we have no means of verifying proper storage, handling, or chain-of-custody integrity. We will never restock, resell, or redistribute any product that has left our facility.

Why We Cannot Accept Returns

Our no-return policy is not arbitrary — it is a direct protection for infants:

  • Product Integrity: We cannot confirm that returned products were stored correctly or remain uncontaminated after leaving our facility.
  • Tampering Prevention: By never accepting returns, every product you receive is guaranteed to have shipped directly from our facility and was never in another consumer's possession.
  • Regulatory Compliance: As an infant nutrition product, our goods must maintain full traceability from manufacture through delivery — a standard that is impossible to uphold with returned merchandise.
  • Safety Assurance: Our HACCP plan and cGMP-compliant manufacturing practices require strict control over every product we ship. Returns would break this chain.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy. We appreciate your understanding.

2. Damaged or Defective Products

While It's My Leche, Inc. takes every precaution to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition, shipping incidents can occasionally occur. If you receive a product that is damaged or defective upon arrival, we want to resolve it promptly.

How to Report a Damaged or Defective Product

Contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery at support@itsmyleche.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the damage or defect
  • Clear photographs of the damaged product and all packaging (inner and outer)
  • Confirmation that you have retained all packaging materials

Our team will review your case and respond within 1–2 business days. Resolution may include replacement product, store credit, or another appropriate remedy based on the circumstances. It's My Leche, Inc. reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution on a case-by-case basis.

What Does Not Qualify

The following do not qualify for replacement or refund:

  • Cosmetic damage to outer cardboard packaging (minor dents, scuffs, or surface wear) that does not affect the integrity of the inner product packaging
  • Damage caused by improper storage after delivery
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow preparation or storage instructions
  • Products used after the recommended use-by date printed on packaging
  • Dissatisfaction based on personal or infant taste preference

3. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an item you did not order, or if your order arrives with missing items, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@itsmyleche.com with your order number and a description of the discrepancy. It's My Leche, Inc. will correct verified shipping errors at no additional cost to you.

4. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the cancellation request is received before the order has entered processing for shipment. To request a cancellation, email support@itsmyleche.com immediately after placing your order with your order number and cancellation request.

Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and is subject to our no-returns, all-sales-final policy described in Section 1. We process orders quickly, so cancellation windows may be short.

5. Freeze-Drying Services

Refund and cancellation terms for our freeze-drying services (Leche Everyday and Leche Premier) are as follows:

Before Shipment of Your Milk

You may cancel your freeze-drying service order and receive a full refund at any time before you have shipped your milk to our facility. To cancel, email support@itsmyleche.com with your order number.

After Shipment — Milk Accepted and In Processing or Milk Declined at Intake

We reserve the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If we are unable to accept your submitted milk for processing (e.g., it arrived fully thawed, in unapproved containers, or otherwise does not meet our intake standards), we will notify you promptly. In such cases:

  • A partial refund may be issued for the service fee, less any costs already incurred (e.g., prepaid shipping materials, intake processing)
  • Each case is handled individually; contact us at support@itsmyleche.com to discuss
Finished Product

Once your freeze-dried milk has been processed and returned to you, the finished product is subject to our review policies. 

6. Subscription Orders

Subscription orders processed and shipped through our Recharge-powered subscription program are subject to this Refund Policy. Because subscription orders are charged and fulfilled automatically, please ensure your subscription settings are up to date through the Subscriber Portal. It's My Leche, Inc. is not responsible for subscription charges resulting from a failure to cancel or modify before the billing date.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product in a subscription order, report it within 48 hours of delivery per Section 2 and Section 3 above. See our Subscription Policy for full details on managing, pausing, and cancelling subscriptions.

7. No Satisfaction Guarantee

Due to the specialized nature of infant nutrition and the individual ways in which babies respond to any feeding product, It's My Leche, Inc. does not offer a satisfaction guarantee. Every infant is different. We strongly encourage parents to consult with their pediatrician before introducing any new nutrition product. We cannot provide refunds or exchanges based on your baby's individual response to our products.

8. Medical Disclaimer

It's My Leche, Inc. products are intended for use as directed on product packaging. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult your pediatrician or a qualified healthcare provider before introducing any new food or nutrition product to your infant. It's My Leche, Inc. is not responsible for adverse reactions resulting from individual allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions.

9. Products Damaged After Delivery

It's My Leche, Inc. is not responsible for products that are damaged due to: improper storage conditions after delivery, failure to follow preparation or storage instructions provided on packaging or our website, use of products after the printed use-by date, or mishandling by the customer or third parties after receipt. Customers are responsible for proper handling and storage upon receipt of their order.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IT'S MY LECHE, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR PURCHASE OR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF IT'S MY LECHE, INC. EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

This Policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
