Shipping policy

Last Updated: March 2026
At It's My Leche, we know your baby's nutrition matters — and so does timing. This Shipping Policy covers two types of shipments: (1) outbound shipping of consumer products from us to you, and (2) inbound shipping of breast milk to our facility for freeze-drying services. Please read both sections carefully as they have distinct requirements.
Part A: Outbound Shipping (Products to You)
Shipping Destinations
All orders ship within the United States only, including all 50 states and Washington, D.C. We do not currently offer international shipping. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses at this time.
Shipping Options and Rates
| Shipping Method | Estimated Delivery | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Shipping | 3–5 Business Days | $9.99 |
| Free Shipping | 3–5 Business Days | Orders $99+ |
Free shipping applies automatically at checkout on qualifying orders of $99 or more within the contiguous United States. Promotional free shipping thresholds may change; current thresholds are displayed in your cart and at checkout.
Order Processing
We observe the following holidays and do not process or ship orders on: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Orders placed near holidays may experience delays.
No Cold Shipping Required
All consumer products — including our powdered donor breast milk sachets and accessories — are freeze-dried and shelf-stable. They do not require refrigeration, ice packs, insulated packaging, or rush handling during transit. Products ship at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store per the instructions on the packaging: room temperature, in a dry location.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package through the carrier's website or app. We recommend enabling delivery notifications so you know when your order arrives.
Delivery Expectations
Estimated delivery times are calculated from the ship date, not the order date, and are subject to carrier performance. Actual delivery may be affected by:
- Severe weather conditions or natural disasters
- Carrier volume during peak seasons (holidays, back-to-school periods)
- Local delivery conditions or address accessibility
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout
It's My Leche is not responsible for carrier delays once your package has left our facility. For time-sensitive orders, we recommend selecting expedited shipping.
Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping address — including apartment or suite numbers and ZIP codes — before submitting your order. Address changes may be requested within one hour of order placement by emailing support@itsmyleche.com. Once an order has entered processing or shipped, we cannot guarantee modifications. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer or for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your tracking shows no movement for more than 48 hours, or if your package appears to be lost, contact us at support@itsmyleche.com immediately. We will work with the carrier to investigate. If the package cannot be located within 7 business days of the expected delivery date, we will work with you to resolve the situation, which may include a replacement shipment or store credit at our discretion.
For packages that show as delivered but were not received: please first check with neighbors, building management, or common delivery areas on your property. If you still cannot locate your package, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery notification.
Part B: Inbound Shipping (Your Milk to Us — Freeze-Dry Service)
Overview
For customers using our Leche Everyday or Leche Premier freeze-drying services, you will ship your expressed, frozen breast milk to our facility for processing. This section explains your responsibilities and our procedures for handling your milk.
What We Provide
Upon completing your service purchase, we will provide you with:
- Detailed shipping instructions and a prepaid or discounted shipping label (included with qualifying service tiers)
- Guidance on how to package your frozen milk for safe transit
- Our facility intake address and any required documentation
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your milk was expressed under clean, sanitary conditions following CDC breastfeeding safety guidelines
- Properly storing your milk at or below -18°C (0°F) prior to shipment
- Packaging your frozen milk appropriately to maintain frozen or partially frozen condition during transit (detailed instructions are provided with your service order)
- Shipping your milk promptly following our instructions to minimize transit time and temperature exposure
- Using only Leche-approved breast milk storage bags (not glass jars or other containers)
Milk Condition Upon Arrival
We inspect all incoming milk shipments upon arrival at our facility. We reserve the right to decline processing of milk that:
- Arrived fully thawed and shows evidence of significant temperature abuse
- Shows signs of contamination, unusual odor, or other quality concerns
- Was not stored in approved containers
If we decline to process your milk, we will notify you promptly and work with you on options, which may include return shipping (at your expense) or safe disposal at your direction. In such cases, a partial refund or service credit may be offered at our discretion.
Processing and Return Shipping
Once your milk has been processed and freeze-dried, your finished product will be packaged and shipped back to you via your selected return shipping method. Return shipping timelines depend on processing volume and will be communicated at the time of service. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers on return shipments.
Limitations of Liability
It's My Leche, Inc. shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, carrier equipment failures, government actions, labor disputes, or other force majeure events. Risk of loss and title for outbound product orders passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. For inbound freeze-dry service shipments, risk of loss remains with you until the milk arrives at our facility.
